This beautiful little antique Victorian solid 18k yellow gold ring is perfect for comfortable every day wear, the ring has a classic gold band with side-split shoulders supporting a fabulous bezel-set round natural opal cabochon which is like a glowing moon on the finger, the moonlight white flashes glorious emerald greens with overtures of purples and crimsons depending on how the light hits it, the opal is set solitaire style within a closed yellow gold gallery-a super pretty glowing moon on your finger! The ring is marked '18CT' inside the band along with other blurred marks. The ring tests for 18k gold. The ring sits about half way between a 5 3/4 and a 6. The opal measures about 5.5mm across.
