Reinforced M-1942 parachutist jacket made of wind and rain-resistant canvas cloth. Zippers are made by Talon. From the HBO Band of Brothers TV series about the Easy Company 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Identical to the real M-1942 jacket worn by Forrest Guth during the Normandy campaign. He carried cigarettes in the bandoleer piece he had sewed to his arm to give out to people once he hit the ground. Very nice cinema patina, size 38R. ***Helmet and mannequin not included just shown for display purposes***
Although Guth was one of the original 140 Toccoa men of Easy Company, he was not included in the Band of Brothers TV miniseries. His character was actually planned and his unique uniform had been re-created (this one for sale). But the producers later dropped Guth from the miniseries because his name sounded too similar to Forrest Gump.
