- This is a working unit that has a dirty attenuator. When you tap the attenuator the response changes. If you look at the 6 pictures, pictures 1(0-500MHZ), 3(450-950MHZ) and 5(900-1400MHZ) represent the normal response and photos 2, 4, and 6 are the responses when the attenuator has been tapped and not making good contact. You can see from these photos that the low frequency end of each band shows deteriorated at the low frequency end, indicating a capacitive connection in the attenuator.
