- This is a unique gold tone brooch by an artist called Jeanne. It is made of a thin metal material that has been cut/carved into an oval display of filigree leaves (seen on back) and hibiscus flowers as well as a scroll pattern. There is some mild discoloring (silver showing through gold color) and some light scratches on the outermost section of the pin as seen in photos. The length measures about 3.8" across and about 2.5" top to bottom. The depth is approximately a half inch. In researching this piece, I discovered that one place had it advertised as a vintage pin back for curtains or drapes. However you choose to use it, it certainly is a gorgeous statement piece.
