- For your consideration, a vintage mixed metal ruby and diamond ring. The ring is likely custom made, set with a glass filled ruby and two high quality small diamonds. The ruby is set in a yellow gold bezel and surrounded by a rose gold floating halo. The white metal shank is not hallmarked but looks like platinum. The stones test as ruby and diamond with a presidium gem tester and the gold halo acid tests at 14K. The ruby is in rough shape, glass filled with chipping and abrading to the surface. Size 6, weight 3.3 grams. Ruby measures approximately 5x7 mm, diamonds approximately 2.5 mm.
