- I believe this is crewel work as it appears to be wool yarn on a velvet background. This lovely piece of jewelry is in great, wearable, VINTAGE condition. Because of the nature of vintage jewelry, it will almost always have some wear. It is Estate fresh and sold As-Is/ As-Found. I do not clean, repair or refinish any of the estate jewelry I sell. Pictures are the best item description-keeping in mind that using the zoom feature will show defects & flaws-often in larger than life & exaggerated detail (many times the flaws that show in pics are not visible with the naked eye).
