- Please note that I am not a jeweler - this is a personal family piece that I am selling based on hallmarks and my great aunt’s description of this item! It is definitively solid 14k gold (and hallmarked as such on the back), with a vintage patina from going on fifty years of age. However, we BELIEVE the stone to be tourmaline, which is semi-precious. It is certainly not cut glass. No returns accepted on this item. While the stone mainly appears brown, it can also take on hints of purple in certain lighting. If you have very thick earlobes, this set may be hard to put on, just due to the back of the jewelry’s design.
