Reel clutch engages smoothly without hesitation. Spool drag alarm is perfect. Drag is responsive and strong. Only Penn lubricants and Cal's drag grease used during service,NO WD40 USED. Reel is free from any brassing or pitting corrosion but does have plating issues that do not effect reel performance. Any questions contact seller. Reel will last a lifetime if maintained properly.
