- For many ancient cultures, the seahorse tended to be a confusing and hard to classify creature. Because of its odd appearance and characteristics, it was sometimes considered to be some type of water dragon. In addition to it being associated with sea gods, seahorses were generally considered good luck charms. It was also a symbol of patience, friendliness, persistence, contentment, and creativity. This beautiful pendant represents that well, and we designed it with a mix of Viking and Celtic art styles in mind. It is double-sided, so the knots and weaves are continuous and slightly different on each side. It is made of steel and has been coated to prevent any rust or tarnishing.
