- I don't believe Revell "factory sealed" the outer boxes of ship kits back in 1957 but the inner parts are still factory sealed in the original bag so technically it's as new as it ever was. The box has some light wear as shown, some masking tape on the sides from having been "sealed" at some point not from the factory, an indent on the box bottom and the typical wave/roll on the box lid from the ship's hull being a bit higher inside the box for the last 57 years, no box splits or tears. sdrm
