- I found a patent for a bracelet with this type of connector from H. Wiedmann in 1915. I believe this tiny 5" bracelet to be very old. It is either a child's or a small woman. That is possible since many of the old watches I've had are very small. The population was tiny in the beginning of the 1900's. This piece is a testament to the charm of yesteryear's fashion.
