- This is a soft and warm throw or lap blanket. It was made in Bermuda by Archie Brown and Son. The top of the throw is a bright beautiful tartan plaid. The bottom side of the throw is a dark khaki green. The throw is somehow woven double thick from a blend of alpaca and sheep wool. There are a few unobtrusive tiny holes in the plaid side, but because of the double think weaving, they do not go all the way through the throw. The throw measures approximately 31" X 41" with 2 1/2" fringe on the ends of the 41" length making the overall length approximately 46".
