- VICTORIAN JET MOURNING BROOCH WITH 14K GOLD AND SEED PEARLS. Antique Victorian mourning brooch. Measures 2 1/2” long and 1/2” wide. Very nice design of 14k gold with seed pearls. 1 pearl is missing. I have been told the black material is jet. I am not an expert. There is a small chip on one corner. See photo 6. The back hinged clasp is on a 14k gold bar. The total weight is 20 grams. Impossible to determine how much is the gold without destroying the beautiful piece of history.
