- This Old Ironsides tall ship model is semi-assembled and ready for display (not a kit). Some light assembly is required you will need to attach the ship model to it's base and attach the bowsprit into it's position. This tall ship model was built by the plank on bulkhead method. The model comes complete with a wood table top display case, both items will be shipped together via Ground freight. You will have to install the model into the display case. The tall ship model is built exactly to scale as the original USS Constitution. This is an Exclusive Edition Model Ship, each model is identified by a serial number. It's a fabulous ship model that will be a conversation piece for any room or office. Size Model: 38" overall L x 32" H x 13" W, Size Display Case: 40" L x 39.25" H x 13.75" W.
