- The stone is purchased, I do the wrapping :-) Handmade solid copper wire wrapped around a Turritella Fossil (agatized snail) cabochon , then oxidized and polished. You will receive the exact pendant as in the photo. A Turritella fossil is the preserved shell of an extinct marine gastropod (snail). These fossils are characterized by their elongated, tightly coiled, spiral-shaped shells with distinct whorls. **Please view the photo with the pendant beside a ruler for size.
