- This textbook is "Time Dependent Problems and Difference Methods" by Bertil Gustafsson, Heinz-Otto Kreiss, and Joseph Oliger and published by John Wiley & Sons in 1995 as part of the "Pure and Applied Mathematics: A Wiley-Interscience Series of Texts, Monographs and Tracts" series. The book is in hardcover format with dimensions 9.5"x6.5 in" and, at 642 pages, is 1.5" thick and weighs 2 lbs 8 oz. I bought this for engineering grad school 25 years ago but barely used it so the pages are in excellent condition (no markings or damage). However, there are some very faint marks on the top edge and the dust cover is sun-faded on the spine form being on my bookshelf for two decades and there are some markings on the inside of the front cover and some slight damage on the back cover (see pictures).
