This 1826 edition was the last published during Malthus’ lifetime, and includes all his final revisions, corrections, and additions. It is considered the definitive text.
CONDITION: This is a very good condition set. Original green cloth-backed drab grey paper boards, printed paper spine labels. Binding is all sound and tight, no cracks ~ slight paper split to front inside hinge of Volume 1 and rear inside hinge of Volume 2. No prior owner handwriting; text is unmarked. No smoke or other odor. Interior pages all supple. Expected cover edge wear to sides and corners, expected light age-soiling to page edges. Not ex-library copies.
