- A pretty vintage estate 9K gold opal and garnet floral cluster ring. This lovely solid 9K yellow and white gold ring is in the form of a elegant flower with a wonderful natural white opal cabochon at its center which flashes greens, blues, golds, reds and yellows from its opalescent depths surrounded by ten glowing deep red garnets, the gemstones set in a raised open white gold gallery with a yellow gold band. The ring has English hallmarks inside the band with maker 'SD', twice marked '375' for 9K gold and the Sheffield town mark. The ring tests for 9K gold. The ring is approximately a size 7 1/4. The ring measures approximately 14mm x 12mm across the face. The opal measures about 8.2mm x 6.1mm and the garnets are about 2.5mm across. The ring rises about 9mm above the finger and weighs approximately 2.9 grams.
