- We had this transformer installed at our shop by an electrician for an air compressor. Our service is 208V and the compressor could only run on 240V. We used the transformer for 2 years. We no longer need it because we switched to a new compressor that can run on either 208 or 240V. It's in perfect condition and comes with a short section of flexible conduit to connect to your metal conduit.
