- This MPEM unit was removed out of a 1996 Sea Doo Speedster twin 717 boat. This item may work but will need two new ring terminals for the starboard side starter and ground connections. It will also need a new starter solenoid for the port side motor. I was able to test the port side motor by jumping the solenoid. Boat was missing starboard side engine so I was unable to test that side. Since I was unable to fully test this unit it is being listed under parts or not working. NO RETURNS, when you purchase this item you are accepting the risk that it possibly is a nonfunctional unit. I have no reason to believe the unit is faulty with the tests I’ve done to it but I can’t be 100% sure it is a working MPEM.
