- Presented for auction is this Stunning Vintage 9ct Solid Gold Opal Set Crescent Moon Brooch. This stunning beautiful vintage 9ct solid gold brooch is in the form of a cresent moon set with seven beautiful colourful opals with a sturdy locking securing pin to the reverse, superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked with the Makers mark NB, the European Common Control mark, 375 denoting 9ct solid gold and the London assay office Leopards head, the securing pin is also hallmarked with the European Common Control mark, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description. Measuring 29mm long approx. each opal is 3mm in diameter approx. it is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits or repairs, just usual light wear consistent with age/use and.
