T. ADEMOLA OYEJIDE is Professor of Economics and Director of the Trade Policy Research and Training Programme at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His major area of expertise is international economics, with a special interest in Trade policy and regional integration. He has been a member of the United Nations Committee for Development Planning, and has consulted for the World Bank.
