Specification: Chrysanthemum Stones were formed from geological changes of the Paleozoic era, 248 to 290 million years ago, from high temperatures and the compression of thick layers of organic-rich mud at the bottom of the sea. The white pattern on the rock is formed of crystals of celestine aka celestite, a strontium-sulfate mineral. Celestine commonly forms elongated crystals on the surface of another rock. As water flowed over the rocks, small crystals could form at the center of the flower and more crystals would grow out from the center point. The stone naturally exposes the flower, although sometimes specimens are highlighted by selective enhancement to accentuate the pattern. Package Includes: 1PC *Chrysanthemum Stone (Random).
