- Rare vintage sterling silver marcasite fancy Pinot brooch stamped Silver. Weighs 10.5 grams. My wife loved looking at the stunning marcasite on this vintage pin even when she wasn’t wearing it. It has a secure locking clasp with SILVER stamped on the back. Very unusual to find a silver stamp. My wife has owned this for about 35 years and purchased it in a juried antique show in Boston. It measures about 1.75” long by 3/8” tall and without the pin portion it measures about 1/8” deep. The ribbon curls do the marcasites pick up the light. My wife has retired or she would never consider listing such a stunning piece which quality marcasites. When it sells, she wi miss looking at it.
