- A lovely antique Georgian 10K rose gold, carved coral, crystal and braided blond hair mourning brooch or pin, dating to circa 1800. This small and sweet Georgian mourning pin has a central beveled edge crystal panel with braided golden blond hair underneath and framed with 10 beautiful carved floral coral beads all set into a solid rich 10K rose gold setting with a large hinge, pin and C clasp to the reverse. The pin is unmarked and tests for 10K gold. The pin measures approximately 3/4 inch x 5/8 inch. The crystal is about 3/8 inch x 7/32 inch. The coral beads are about 3mm across. The pin has a weight of approximately 2.4 grams. The pin is in excellent condition with light general wear. The hinge is strong and it closes securely.
