- Up for bid is a fantistic 260 Gram Slab OF DENDRITE AMETHYST SAGE AGATE. This is one outstanding specimen thats a Brown base with outer purple and black dendrites and it has a unique pattern. WHAT AN AWESOME PATTERN. This would make a fantastic specimen. It would make great cabs. It's 7-3/8" x 4-3/4" x 1/4". All my slabs are rough material and they are not polished. Yes they have been cut on a slab saw only. I use soapy water to take photos in sun light which gives it a polished look. All slabs look different when dry and they have a dull grey look to them until your add water or clear coat paint or have them polished. As with all rocks there can be fractures.
