- Up for bid is a fantastic 40 GRAM SLAB OF DENDRITE OPAL FROM AUSTRALIA. This is one outstanding specimen that has a orange base with dark dendrites makes a unique pattern. WHAT AN AWESOME PATTERN. This would make a fantastic specimen. This slab is uneven on the thickness. It's 2-7/8" x 2-1/4" x 1/4" to 1/8". All my rocks are rough material and they are not polished. I use soapy water to take photos in sun light which gives it a polished look. All rocks look different when dry and they have a dull look to them until you add water, clear coat paint or have them polished. As with all rocks there can be fractures. Thanks for looking!!!.
