This is a beautiful and very colorful specimen consisting part of an opened geode with a hollow interior lined with small QUARTZ crystals that the locals dyed crimson and gold, presumably to improve the appearance from By Craa, Laayoune Cercle, Laayoune Province, Morocco. The specimen is 10.50 by 7.20 by 4.0 cms in size or about 4.02 by 1.88 by 1.60 inches and weighs 189.7 grams.
