This is a lovely specimen consisting of a combination of so-called called skeletal crystals of silvery grey GALENA on all sides with lesser amounts of lustrous black crystals of SPHALERITE and small clear QUARTZ crystals on all sides with no other matrix from the Septemvri Mine, Madan Municipality, Smolyan Province, Romania. The specimen is 4.5 by 4.2 by 2.5 cms in size or about 1.80 by 1.68 by 1.00 inches and weighs 82.3 grams.
