- A glorious antique Edwardian 18k gold sapphire and diamond scrolling star ring, hallmarked to 1902. This beautiful antique Edwardian solid 18k yellow gold 3-gemstone ring has two gorgeous glowing cobalt blue natural sapphires prong-set into diamond shape settings with a glittering white natural old cut diamond prong-set into a star setting at its center, the shoulders with very pretty scrolling fleur-de-lys completing this super elegant and alluring ring! The ring has full English hallmarks inside the band with maker 'A.I', the crown for gold, '18', the Birmingham anchor and date letter 'c' for 1902. The ring tests for 18k gold. The ring is just under a size 6 (closer to a 6 than a 5 3/4). The ring measures about 11mm across the stones. The sapphires measure +/-2mm and the diamond +/-1.5mm. The band is about 7.
