This is "The String Quartet," by THE LINDSAYS, a previously-owned CD with its original liner notes and little-to-no surface wear. This CD was exclusively available with BBC Music Magazine in 1996 and produced in association with ASV (not available in retail outlets). The Lindsay String Quartet was a British string quartet from 1965 to 2005 that first formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 1965 to compete for a prize and set out to make the string quartets of Bartók and Beethoven the centre of their repertoire. They are named after Lord Lindsay, the Founder of Keele University.
