25 grayscale images...A mixed-theme collection of some of my favourite designs from my coloring book range... but in greyscale!I have colored these designs myself, then turned them into grayscale, so that light & shade is indicated for TO COLOR THE GRAYSCALE:DARK AREAS: Use darker or stronger colours (either pencils or pens) / press harder with your pencils on the darker tones for more saturated AREAS: Shade lighter (use less pressure) or use lighter colours such as yellows or pale blue on the pale tones. WHITE AREAS: Some white areas can be colored in light shades, but I would suggest leaving the main white HIGHLIGHTS as white, or enhance with white gel TONE: For light coloured skin tone I would suggest these pencil colors...shade light flesh color all over, except main white highlight areas. Then burnt ochre, venetian red (a muted red that will add some rosiness to the cheeks etc) then raw umber for darker/ shadow areas like the inner corners of eyes, the line below the cheek bone Starting near the ears... use dark brown if you want darker shadows. If you need to tone down from too much orange or brown, use grey, or earth green ( a light musty type green) shade gently (don't go in hard) and build up gradually if you need more of a particular out the other books in my series.
