    • Hallmarked 9ct Gold Carved Shell Cameo Brooch / Pendant Vintage c.1975

      A stunning hand carved cameo brooch set in a gold mount, 
      showing a classical Greek women in profile, 
      with tied back hair and flower pinned at the shoulder, 
      with the cream colouring contrasting the toffee amber background, 
      it is set is a simple deep gold mount with ribbon twist edging. 
      The reverse has a pin with locking catch for wearing as a brooch, 
      or there is also a top ring so can be hung on a chain as a pendant, 
      plus there is a safety chain with pin attached for security.

      Hallmarked on the bottom edge with London assay mark, 
      .375 denoting 9ct gold, and with the date letter 'A' dating it to 1975. 

      Brooch measures approximately 5.2 x 3.8 x 1.8 cm's, 
      and weighs 12.05 grams on our digital scales.

      Piece is in excellent condition, 
      a little very light marking commensurate with age and use, 
      all as shown in the pictures.
