From the golden era of the Brill Building comes this fascinating two sided 10" 45 rpm acetate, featuring 2 songs by Edna Lewis and John Habash. Lewis wrote Lipstick on Your Collar, 16 Candles and Lovin' Up a Storm, and Habash and Lewis set a bunch of Edgar Allen Poe's poems to music (with Lewis) and wrote a lot of pop songs with little chart success. 45 rpm 10" acetate is in VG- condition, has storage marks and scuffing on the playing surface. Plays through, with some crackle. Complete with lead sheets for both songs. Note the crossed out Hill & Range credit, and the handwritten Ashwyn Music credit, at the Brill Building address.
