- Fabulous Victorian mourning locket, with glass back and rolled yellow gold front. A very wearable size (especially for the era) and would look great stacked with more modern pieces. The locket would likely have contained hair work originally, but this has been removed, making it ideal for personalising with a photo or other keepsake. Gold layer on the front is intact and has a lovely rosey blush to the metal, very flattering. Some wear to the back frame, where base metal is visible, enamel has some wear at edges, consistent with age. Please see pictures for condition. I have added a clip on gold vermeil jump ring to make it more wearable
