YELLOWSTUFF: Ultra High Friction Pads for Race, Trackday and Street Use.
These pads do not require warm up but do get even stronger under the heat of hard driving. These are not a low dust pad and if your desire is for a low dust premium street use pad, you should consider EBC Redstuff.
When considering full race use, Yellowstuff has been a strong favourite, having been used for two years in the Swedish Camaro Cup and at numerous other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted. It is also the choice of 90% of the Mazda MX5 Miata competitors in the UK race series and has an unblemished record as rotor friendly track pad for vehicles up to 3500 lbs or 1600 kilos weight or 200 BHP.
In the USA the SCCA and NASA drivershave been testing Yellowstuff with feedback and good reports POURING in from a 543 test driver major market proving event with these groups. Read that figure again 543 test drivers. There is no guesswork here.

USR EBC BRAKE DISCS / ROTORS
Ultra quiet sport slotted brake rotors
Manufactured using premium disc blanks mentioned above, the narrower multi slot design of the Ultimax sport rotor and the progressive angle at which the slots are machined creates a quiet running sport rotor that still has benefits of removing gas, dirt, water and debris and maintaining parallel pad wear. The Discs come coated in the color Black, but this will come off with pad use to reveal the original iron cast underneath.
EBC have always been honest enough to say that the biggest advantage of slotted rotors is the fact that they promote flat and parallel pad wear rather than allowing ridges to develop on pads and rotors which is typical of “drilled only” sport rotors. By preventing these ridges brakes stay more consistent throughout pad and rotor wear life (simple physics!).
All EBC rotors including USR Slotted Rotors are British made and are precision machined in the UK. Rotors are made from high quality grey iron to exacting standards and undergo extensive testing and rigorous quality control. Slotted rotors can significantly improve brake performance and longevity when used with a matching high friction brake pad set. Having sold hundreds of thousands of brake kits EBC Brakes feel confident their approach is as perfect as it gets.
We are of the opinion that slotted rotors have been “Over sold” by certain marketplace participants and our findings are that a slotted rotor will only give benefits if used with a pad that compensates for its reduced surface area.
EBC recommend the use of a premium pad such as Redstuff brake pads or Yellowstuff brake pads to complement your new USR slotted rotors which will provide the optimum balance of life and performance.

Please note that if you have not received your order in the expected time frame, we have to contact courier company before a lost in post claim form can be put through – however this is a very rare occurrence and something we do not see happen often. We allow for three working weeks to elapse as items will be returned to the sender if not delivered within that time period.

We accept all returns within 30 days of the estimated delivery date for a full refund. Returns made after the 30 day period will not be accepted unless agreed beforehand.
