- This classification and subject index for catalog and arranging books and pamphlets of a library was initially published in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1876 by Millville Dewey. This particular book is a Centennial 1876 through 1976 face simile reprinted by forest press division at Lake Placid education foundation. I am unsure if the books reprint date is 1976 just an educated guess since it’s the Centennial date. It is in very good condition. The front cover has the remnants of a sticker or something adhesive. There are no other markings in the book. The corners of the book show somewhere I can be seen in the photographs. I cannot find another copy of this book as a facsimile for this Centennial date anywhere online. Reasonable offers entertained.
