- A gorgeous pair of antique Art Deco 18K gold 8.8 carat moonstone cabochon earrings. This beautiful pair of Art Deco era butterfly and post earrings are of exceptional quality with two glowing opalescent white moonstone cabochons totaling 8.8 carats set in heavy solid 18K yellow gold settings. The moonstones are wonderful and have divine white to clear opalescence with hints of purples when they hit the light. The earrings are unmarked and test for 18K gold, the butterflies are stamped '750'. The moonstone cabochons each measure approximately 11.4mm x 9.1mm x 5.9mm or about 4.4 carats each. The length of the earrings including the stone and post is about 17mm The earrings have a total weight of approximately 4.1 grams. The earrings are in excellent condition with only very light general wear.
