Rare 1983 Vintage Computer Lapel Pin – Dealer-Only Promotional Item
Offered here is a hard-to-find vintage lapel pin from the early days of personal computing, dating back to 1983. This collectible piece was produced to coincide with the launch of one of the earliest graphical interface desktop systems developed by the now-legendary tech company Apple founded in the late 1970s.
This pin was never made available for retail sale. It was distributed in very limited quantities to select dealers as a promotional item during the debut of a revolutionary business-oriented computer. Some dealerships had staff wear the pin in-store, while others offered it as a gift to clients who invested in the then-premium system, priced at approximately $10,000 USD. Others received the pin as a token upon completion of product training programs.
Features include:
Classic multi-color striped logo design used by the company during the era
The scripted name of the computer system, which also happens to be the first name of the founder’s daughter
Measurements: roughly 1 inch wide by 3/8 inch high
Metal construction with colored enamel accents
This piece is in excellent condition, with bright colors and no visible wear. An authentic artifact from the early 1980s tech boom, it represents a significant moment in computing history and would make a valuable addition to any vintage electronics or design collection.
Condition: Excellent. Gently preserved, with original finish and clean surfaces.
