- This is a stunning antique necklace made of cherry amber bakelite beads with a pinchbeck box closure. The necklace is handmade and is an original piece from the Art Deco era (1915-1935). It weighs 65.5 grams and measures 16 inches double length. The beads are oval in shape and are a beautiful vibrant cherry colour and are known as olives . The necklace is in excellent condition and is an antique piece. The largest beads are 25mm x 20mm and the smallest are 13mm x 8mm..absolutely gorgeous necklace. The test results with the simichrome are on the cotton buds testing positive for bakelite on all 3 cotton bud tests carried out..no reserve on this necklace.
