- This kit was produced by Airfix and is an example of their most recent tooling of the P-40, boxed in 2012. Early versions that saw action with the RAF and Soviet Air Force were known as Tomahawks, those from the P-40D onwards the Kittyhawk, and all US versions were known as the Warhawk from mid-1941, the final version being the P-40N.
