It enables your VOM, recorder, power or harmonic meters, or scopes with an input impedance of 1 Megaohm or higher to make accurate current readings up to 1000 Amps max using a non-intrusive clamp-on sensor--without cutting wires. It is switchable between 4 ranges 0 to 1A, 0 to 10 A, 0 to 100 A, and 0 to1000 A. Frequency range is 30 Hz to 3KHz. I have several of these SD659's.
