- Description: The heater core is a radiator-like device located under the dashboard and connected into the engine cooling system. Works as a heat exchanger between hot coolant from the engine and warm air from the cabin. It is made of premium aluminum and consists of tubes to carry the coolant and fins to transfer heat to the passenger cabin.
