- Up for bid is a 320 Gram Chunk of NEW FIND FIRE PIT JASPER. It is a awesome specimen. It has reds, blacks, and its very pretty. It is not polished, just shown wet. This is one outstanding chunk. This unique gem will make gorgeous cabs or a unique specimen. It's 2-5/8" x 2-5/8'' x 1-3/4" at the widest points. All my slabs are rough material and they are not polished. Yes they have been cut on a slab saw only. I use soapy water to take photos in sun light which gives it a polished look. All slabs look different when dry and they have a dull grey look to them until your add water or clear coat paint or have them polished. As with all rocks there could be some fracturing.
