- 1950’s Millet Walter Bonatti edition hiking bag made in France. Walter Bonatti, a famous Italian mountaineer who has been noted for many climbing achievements. The back pack has an aluminum frame, with two side pockets, a large main pocket and a front pocket with zipper. All zippers are working. A mix of blue leather and canvas with Sherpa lining on the shoulder straps. It would make a better display piece than everyday use. There is some water stains and a small fraying in one of string holes as well as some rubbing off of the Sherpa material as seen in photos. All and all it’s in great shape and for its age and the clear amount it was used.
