- Pickup tube in wrong position. Reposition fuel pickup tube to "CL" position (8 o'clock) or to "FF","RC" position (6 o'clock). Turn the engine over by flipping the propeller. If your engine has a spring starter, simply wind the spring one turn clockwise and release.
