- Up for bid is a Fantastic 1.1 Pound Chunk of Dinosaur Dung Specimen. This Specimen chunk of Dung, comes from the Jurassic Era and is around 148 million years old. This is one outstanding specimen. This is 1.1 pounds of the most interesting SH-- you will ever see and its 4-7/8" x 2-1/8" x 1-7/8" thick at widest points. It is one awesome specimen of poop. All my slabs are rough material and they are not polished. Yes they have been cut on a slab saw only. I use soapy water to take photos in sun light which gives it a polished look. All slabs look different when dry and they have a dull grey look to them until your add water or clear coat paint or have them polished. As with all rocks there could be some fracturing.
