- This is a spectacular 10K solid yellow gold genuine scarab beetle stick pin from the mid-Victorian era. The piece features a scarab beetle with an iridescent nubby blue green body. The beetle is set in a 10K yellow gold simple mounting with a prong setting. Considered highly collectible, Victorian scarab jewelry is somewhat rare. Beetles were an Egyptian symbol for rebirth and the Victorians relished in their unique form. The stick pin measures 2.5 inches and is in pristine condition with no chips or nicks to the beetle body. This is an exquisite example of Victorian jewelry. Circa 1870.
